counts — connecting to the server, discovering it, and listing its tools are free, so an
agent that idles costs nothing.
Usage is metered and billed monthly through Stripe. Billing periods run on the calendar month, so an invoice covers the same window the dashboard graph shows. A subscription started mid-month is billed for that partial month on the following month-boundary invoice.
Cancelling takes effect immediately, from the dashboard. Metered usage that has not been invoiced yet is invoiced on cancellation rather than carried forward, so there is no trailing charge weeks later.
Requests past the monthly cap are refused with
402 Payment Required
and a link to upgrade — they are not silently billed. Over MCP the same refusal arrives
as a tool error rather than an HTTP error, so the agent can read it and tell you.
